Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor [wikipedia] has passed away. Elizabeth Taylor died from complications of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Wednesday on March 23, 2011. She was 79 years old.


Born in England in 1932, a young Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylo moved along with her American parents back to USA before the beginning of World War II. After settling in Los Angeles, Dame Elizabeth embarked on a prolific acting career since 9.

Taylor won two Best Actress Oscars for her respective role in 1960′s Butterfield 8 as Gloria Wandrous and 1966′s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? as Martha.

Except for her acting talents, Elizabeth Taylor was also famous for her colorful private life (like eight marriages and friendship with Michael Jackson etc.) and charity work for AIDS/HIV.

R.I.P! Ms. Taylor will be remembered!

Update: Julien Hug death cause is suicide. Hug took his own life because of acute depression.

Julien Hug, a former The Bachelorette contestant, has died. Jelien Hug was found dead off a highway in South California yesterday (November 3), People reported.

Hug, 35, a San Diego native, contested on the season 5 of ABC’s hit dating reality TV which featured Jilian Harris (picture below). On the show, the hunk said he felt like he had a connection with Harris. He believed it would be great if “Jillian and Julien together forever,” but was eliminated only at the 2nd week of that season.

Back from the Bacheorette, Julien Hug returned to help run his family restaurant business at Palm Desert. Sadly, he went missing on Monday (Nov. 1) and days later his body was tragically found on the highway. The death cause is pending for the autopsy report.

“I am completely heartbroken for the Hug family, and my whole heart goes out to them today as they mourn a precious life that ended far too soon,” Jillian Harris said in a statement. “It’s very difficult to find the words to express my condolences, but I will always remember Julien’s gentle demeanor and kind heart, which will be sadly missed.”

“Please say a prayer for the loss of a friend this morning. Life is fragile, don’t forget to love the ones you love.” Ms. Harris went on to write on her twitter account.

Indeed sad! Our condolence to Julien Hug’s family and friends!

Nestor Kirchner, husband of Argentina President Cristina Kirchner, has passed away today October 27, 2010. Nestor, who’s the predecessor of his wife Cristina Fernandez de Kircher as a state head, died of a sudden heart attack. He was 60 years old.

Nestor Kirchner’s legacy undoubtedly will live in the memories of the Argentina people or beyond. But not like somewhere else where the death of a key political figure could sometimes temporarily destabilized the economy or at least caused some loss on stocks markets for days, it seems Mr. Kirchner’s death is doing rather the opposite.

LA Times blog wrote a few minutes ago, “[Nestor Kirchner's] passing caused a spike in Argentine stocks this morning as investors speculated that the economy would stabilize and government spending would drop.” (more…)
