Farrah Fawcett (Feb. 2, 1947- Jun. 25, 2009)
Charlie’s Angels actress Farrah Fawcett passed away at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA today June 25, 2009. Her spokesman confirmed. Farrah Fawcett battled the anal cancer in the past three years. She was 62 years old.

Colby Curtin, from Huntington Beach, California, is a 10 year old girl. Colby Curtin was diagnosed with vascular cancer in 2005. Curtin had a final wish to watch Disney/Pixar animation movie Up after she saw previews for the film in April.

On June 9 when Colby was too sick to watch the movie in the theatre, a family friend contacted both Disney and Pixar. Pixar officials agreed to send someone to Colby’s house the following day with a DVD copy of Up for a private screening.
Seven hours after Colby Curtin watched the picture and fullfilled her last wish, the poor vascular cancer-stricken girl passed away at night.
“When I watched it, I had really no idea about the content of the theme of the movie,” Lisa Curtin, Colby’s mother told to The Orange County Register, according to AP. “I just know that word ‘Up’ and all of the balloons and I swear to you, for me it meant that (Colby) was going to go up. Up to heaven.”
What a bittersweet story!

Kung Fu star David Carradine was found dead in Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. He was 72 years old.

Carradine was in Thailand to shoot his new movie, Stretch. Thai police said David Carradine died from apparent suicide, he was discovered Thursday hanged in his luxury hotel room. ABC 7 is reporting Carradine’s agent confirmed his death this morning. (more…)

UK actress Lucy Gordon, who played British reporter Jennifer Dugan in Spider-Man 3, was found dead in her Paris apartment May 20, Times reported. Lucy Gordon apparently committed suicide. It was said Lucy had hanged herself while her boyfriend slept in their flat in the 10th Arrondissement, Paris. She was just two days shy of her 29th birthday on Friday, May 22.
We felt totally lost over Lucy Gordon’s unexpected death. Sad! Sad! Sad!
