Shante Broadus, rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg’s wife, was dead? Sounds so, but she should be all right. Nevertheless, a message scooped by TMZ.com on the California Highway Patrol’s website posted by someone yesterday afternoon was really frightening. The incident report at 3:19PM written in all capital letters read THE WORD IS “SNOOP DOGGY DOG” HAS THE DEAD BODY OF HIS WIFE IN HIS BASEMENT. TMZ said “apparently it was so ridiculous that no one at the CHP bothered to forward it to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.” We believe that annoymous tip was somewhat tricky, because Snoop Doggy Dog the man quotemarked is not the stage name of Cordozar Calvin Broadus, aka Snoop Doggy Dogg (or Snoop Dogg).
