Here is Sahel Kazemi picture! Who is Sahel Kazemi? Sahel Kazemi has been identified as the female victim shot dead inside a condominium at 2nd South & Lea Avenue in downtown Nashville, Tennessee on July 4 afternoon. The male victim was Steve Mcnair, a former NFL star

NYT quoted the Nashville police as saying Steve McNair had multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head, while Kazemi was found with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Sahel Kazemi was believed to be the girlfriend of Steve Mcnair. She was 20 years old. Mcnair and Sahel co-owned a 2007 black Cadillac Escalade. Two days before their demise, the pair was busted for driving under influence. At the time, the driver of Cadillac Escalade was Sahel Kazemi.

Words surfaced on some blogs said she was a part-time call girl/escort.

Mcnair was a married father with four sons. His wife is Mechelle Cartwright (Mechelle Mcnair).

Mechelle Cartwright (also Mechelle Mcnair), wife of Steve Mcnair (photo here), could not cheer on the joys brought in by the celebration of Fourth of July. Instead, the Independence Day in 2009 was probably the most darkest day in the life of Mechelle Mcnair. Her husband Steve Mcnair, former NFL Pro-Bowler and Co-MVP, was found shot dead along with another woman inside an condominium in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

When Steve Mcnair shot dead news broke out, Mechelle McNair initially was mis-identified as the female victim in the double shootings murder by WSMV. The TV station had withdrawn the inaccurate report,  according to Lalate. In fact, Mechelle was said to be “very distraught” over Steve’s death.

Steve Mcnair Death, How Did Steve Mcnair Died? Mcnair Found Dead of Gun Wound

Steve Mcnair death came hours before Michael Jackson memorial lottery ended an online registration at StaplesCenter.com on the Fourth of July–Independence Day. How did Steve Mcnair die? Former NFL quarterback Steve Mcnair, photo above, found dead of multiple gunshot wounds in his girlfriend’s condominium in downtown Nashville, Tennessee! Tragically, Mcnair’s girlfriend (not wife Mechelle Cartwright/Mechelle Mcnair!) was also a victim of the shooting. She died of a single head shot. The police are investigating the accident. It’s too early to say if a third person involved, or if Steve Mcnair girlfriend shot him and then committed suicide. (Update: Steve Mcnair girlfriend was identified as Sahel Kazemi, picture here)

Steve Mcnair was 36 years old. Mcnair spent 13 seasons in the NFL–11 years with Tennessee Titans and last 2 years with Baltimore Ravens. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and named the NFL’s co-MVP with the Indianapolis Colts’ Peyton Manning in 2003. He retired in 2008.

“We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair’s passing today.” K.S. Adams Jr. Titans’ boss said in a statement.

“He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing.”

Ozzie Newsome, executive vice president and general manager of the Baltimore Ravens, also released a statement.

“This is so, so sad. We immediately think of his family, his boys. They are all in our thoughts and prayers,” he said “What we admired most about Steve when we played against him was his competitive spirit, and we were lucky enough to have that with us for two years. He is one of the best players in the NFL over the last 20 years.” He stated.

Update: Steve Mcnair’s family released the following statement: “The families of Steve McNair in Mississippi and Tennessee appreciate the concern, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of our loss of a husband, father and son. The family requests everyone would allow them time to mourn. The McNair family appreciates and continues to request your prayers at this time.

Update: Steve Mcnair’s death was ruled as a homicide. Sahel Kazemi’s death was not classified. Steve was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest, while Kazemi was shot once in the head. The condo where the Kazemi Mcnair tragedy took place is not Sahel’s, it was co-rented by Steve and friend, sporting-goods dealer Wayne Neeley. On Saturday afternoon, Neeley found Steve and Sahel’s bodies after he entered the building. Probably shocked by the horrific scene, Neeley did not immediately dial the 911 but contacted friend Robert Gaddy, who went to the condo and called police. More details on CNN

Sherri Goforth Historical Keepsake Photo

Sherri Goforth, an assistant of Tennessee State senator, Republican Diane Black, made a montage image and sent it out through emails under the title of Historical Keepsake Photo on May 28.

The Historical Keepsake Photo picture was made up from a collection of official portraits of 44 United States Presidents except for the current President Barack Obama who was replaced as a black frame with only cartoonish white eyeballs visible.

Sherri Goforth became under fire and made an even worse apology. “I went on the wrong email and I inadvertently hit the wrong button. I’m very sick about it, and it’s one of those things I can’t change or take back,” said Goforth.

Chip Forrester, Tennessee Democratic Party Chairman, called Rep. Diane Black to fire Sherri Goforth.

“I am calling on Sen. Black to reject this racist smear and fire this staffer who, on state government time, on state government computers, using a state government email account, launched this bigoted attack on our president.”

However, Ms. Black did not dismiss Goforth and defended her decision on CNN.

“Ms. Goforth did get a verbal reprimand as well as a very strongly worded reprimand, written, that was put in her file that if this should ever occur again, that she would be terminated,” Black said.

“This is an employee who has had a stellar record,” Black said. She added that Goforth has worked in state government for more than 20 years, and has had a clean record.

“We followed policy. And that’s what you do when someone breaks the rules, you follow policy,” she said.
